The Way Things Were: Texas Settlers and Their Buildings, 1860s – 1930s

A traveling photo exhibition that uses real photos from early Texas settles to examine the daily struggles and development of Texan community and lifestyles.  The Way Things Were is an exhibition by Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
