The Alamo Educator Workshop Series

Description: 

2018 marks the 300th anniversary of San Antonio. To commemorate the occasion, the Alamo presents the Tricentennial Educator Workshop Series. The series of workshops will cover the eras of Texas History from 1400-1836. Specifically, the series will focus on the significant role of the Alamo over the 300 years of San Antonio history. The intended audience for each workshop is educators and CPE credit hours are offered at each event. The events are filled on a first come, first served basis. Below are the dates and topics for each workshop: 

Military & Mexican Independence: 1803 - 1821

January 20, 2018, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. | FREE | 4 CPE Hours

 

Colonization & the Texas Revolution: 1821 - 1836

March 10, 2018, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | $20 per person, Lunch & Tour Included | 6 CPE Hours

 

Republic, Statehood, Civil War, & Reconstruction: 1836 - 1865

June 30, 2018, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | $40 | Lunch & Tour Included | 6 CPE Hours

 

From Mission to Shrine: 1519 - 1836

August 4, 2018, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | FREE | 6 CPE Hours | Presented in partnership with Mission San Jose
