Frank Reaugh: Master of Pastels and the Plains of Texas

Museum Exhibit or ProgramFamed for his paintings of longhorn cattle and wide-open Texas landscapes, Frank Reaugh came to be known as the dean of Texas painters. An exhibit of his works, Frank Reaugh: Master of Pastels and the Plains of Texas, opens July 7 and continues through Oct. 1 at UNT on the Square, located in downtown Denton. The free event is sponsored by the Torch Collection, the Texas State Historical Association, the UNT College of Arts and Sciences, and the UNT Institute for the Advancement of the Arts.
